Arbor Hills Nature Preserve

It's another guest review, thanks to familiar faces - The Princess & Little Miss.
Details about the 3 types of nature featured at the park.
This park has an off-road bike trail, along with lots of off-road hiking trails.
The Princess & Little Miss show off what The Boy would call "racing slides".
Plenty to climb on.
More slides!
Barrier-free/toddler play area.
Little Miss is quite the climber.
Peek-a-boo!
The covered pavilion.
Great picnic spots.
The perfect party spot!
Restrooms.
Grassy area for running (or rolling).
Wonderful views.
Nice spot for kick ball or flying a kite.
An unpaved trail to explore.
Beautiful wildflowers in bloom.

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano (6701 W Parker Rd) is a great spot to go on an adventure, ride your bike, play on the playground, or just have a relaxing picnic.  There are about 2 miles of paved trails around the park, about 2 miles of unpaved bike trails, several unpaved hiking trails, an observation tower, a covered pavilion, a nice-sized playground, a restroom, and plenty of open grassy areas.  After our guest reviewer sent in the pictures, Mommy & Daddy had to head out for a bike ride ourselves.  We were glad we did - it is gorgeous out there!

Harrington Park

Guest review by Lollipop & Cupcake!  Thanks girls (and mommy)!

Look at that colorful slide!
There's even a tunnel!
Lollipop is ready to hang.
Cool "ladder".
There's a finger-tracing maze down there.
We always love a good tire swing.
Swings!
Cupcake trying out the baby swings.
Benches for mommy & daddy to rest, while they watch the action.  (Notice the soccer goals in the background.)
A few good picnic spots.
Nice covered pavilion.
Sand volleyball court.
Restroom.
Baseball field.

Harrington Park in Plano (401 W 16th St) has a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, a 1.45 mile hike (that leads to many local restaurants) & bike trail, playground, soccer goals, picnic tables, grills, and a covered pavilion.  Right across the street you'll find a baseball field.  The restrooms were locked & the water fountain was turned off, but that could be a seasonal thing.

Bob Woodruff Park

Another guest review! A big thanks to Lil' Man & Lil' Man's mom for sharing this with us.
Lil' Man is ready to play!
I see slides!
A cool tunnel/mini slide for the smaller kids.

Just hanging around.
A fun bridge.
...and a normal one.
Lil' Man is having a blast.
Swings for the big kids & the wee ones.
A nice trail for a walk.
Lots of room to run & play.
The perfect fishing spot.
Decent restrooms.
Time to party! (Or picnic.)
Volleyball... or digging in the sand.
Mommy says: Bob Woodruff Park in Plano (2601 San Gabriel Dr) has 2 pavilions, a playground, a sand volleyball court, a pond with a fishing pier, plenty of grassy space to play a game of kick ball, or have a nice picnic, a hiking/biking trail, and a playground. There is a restroom & water fountains, but keep a watchful eye on young ones because the pond is very close to the playground.
