Pearson Park

This park looks fun!
 Whoa, lots of swings!
 There's a little kid spot.
haha, look at the mushroom house!
 There's a playground for me!
 There's even monkey bars!!!
 I love this park.
I can climb that, it's fun!
Mom can sit over there to rest.
Next time, can we go fishing?

Pearson Park in Red Oak (200 Lakeview Pkwy) has a great playground area, with something for all age ranges.  There is also a pavilion, walking trail, fishing pond, open green space, & picnic tables.  There isn't a restroom, but I'd imagine you could use the one in the library right beside the park.  The pavilion is the only good shade area, so pack a hat & sunscreen if you're going to stay a while.  If you're a resident of Red Oak, check out the library's fishing program!

Red Oak City Park (Old Town Park)

A DINOSAUR!!
This is the fast slide, it's so fun.
There's the creek.  Mommy says not to play in it...  but sometimes I do.
 Volleyball
 I like basketball.
I think this is a dance stage.  Right mommy?
 Playground!!!!
I love these monkey bars the most.
Those slides are okay, but the other one is better.
 The potty & water fountains.

Mommy says:  Red Oak City Park (also called Old Town Park) in Red Oak (101 Live Oak St) is the city's oldest park & includes a volleyball court, basketball court, 2 covered pavilions & a gazebo, picnic tables with grills, a walking trail, a playground, and lots of open space to play tag or fly a kite.  There is also a creek that kids LOVE to play in, so be aware that you made need some towels and clean clothes.  There is a restroom & working water fountains right by the playground area.
