Forest Creek Park in
Lucas (Orchard Gap Rd & White Rock Trail) is hidden in a quiet neighborhood. The park could use a little TLC, and it doesn't have a restroom, but The Boy had a blast anyway. There are 2 playground structures, neither of which are safe for parent-free play for a toddler. (Too high, with nothing blocking openings.) There are plenty of slides, a tunnel, several steering wheels, swings, and a soccer field set up for play. There are 2 concrete picnic tables (not shaded, but there are center holes for an umbrella), and several benches. If you're looking for a more remote playground, this is a great choice.
