A house to go fishing in. (Guest appearance by The Boy's girlfriend, The Girl. ;))
Mommy says: Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (2222 Welborn St - near Oaklawn & 35) is an amazing hospital for so many reasons (did you know all the services they provide to Texas children are provided at no cost to the families?). One of the great gifts they have given the community is an awesome play area that is really safe & really fun. There are 2 separate playgrounds, one for toddlers/preschoolers & one for the "big" kids. There is also a playhouse, a nice restroom, a large covered pavilion, and plenty of benches & picnic tables. A kid can get lost playing pretend & running around in a safely fenced haven. Everything is, of course, handicap accessible & so very, very safe for even the craziest of toddlers (trust me, we tried it out!).

Awesome site Helen I love it! Since we go to church in Oak Cliff we just might have to head out to this park and picnic while there.
thanks for this rec - I can't believe we have never been here!
Very nice, I have never been to this one, we may have to try it.
We're heading here today, after I pick up my race packet at Luke's.
